Job Description

Position: Intake & Retention Manager

Reports to: Director of Program Innovation

Effective: May 2017

CASA of Travis County has a full-time Intake & Retention Manager position available. The Intake & Retention Manager reports to the Director of Program Innovation and guides CASA of Travis County to identify, institutionalize, and sustain best practices, particularly in the areas of support and retention of volunteers. In this role, the Intake & Retention Manager provides leadership, expertise and ongoing support to staff and volunteers as it relates to performance and retention efforts at CASA of Travis County. Additionally, the Intake & Retention Manager works to ensure appropriate and effective matches between new cases, volunteers, and Child Advocacy Specialists, by working closely with the Director of Program Innovation, the Early Family Engagement Specialist, the Team Leaders, and other members of the Program team. The Intake & Retention Manager works with the Team Leaders to coordinate the process of training and onboarding new Child Advocacy Specialists, ensuring that they receive thorough training in effective volunteer management and other essential skills.
