Title: Teen Advocacy Specialist

CASA of Travis County has a full-time Teen Advocacy Specialist position available. The Teen Advocacy Specialist empowers, guides and supervises CASA volunteers as they advocate in the best interest of youth who have been abused and neglected and are at risk of aging out of the foster care system. Title: Family Finding Specialist

Reports To: Director of Program Innovation

CASA of Travis County has a full-time Family Finding Specialist position available. The Family Finding Specialist reports to the Director of Program Innovation and provides quality supervision and guidance to a team of volunteer advocates in both specialized Family Finding assignments and in Teen Advocacy and Permanency Project (TAPP) cases. The Family Finding Specialist will focus on permanency and positive outcomes for youth at risk of aging out of the foster care system, and will work to ensure meaningful family connections for youth wherever possible. Alongside the Director of Program Innovation, the Family Finding Specialist will focus on the continuous development and improvement of CASA’s Family Finding efforts.

Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred candidates will have good leadership and supervision skills and a demonstrated commitment to building and maintaining family connections for youth in the foster care system. English/Spanish fluency preferred.

Title: Program Assistant
Date: July 2017
Reports To: Intake and Retention Manager

CASA of Travis County has a part-time (25 hours per week--5 hours/day, 5 days/week) Program Assistant position available. The Program Assistant reports to the Intake and Retention Manager and assists Program staff with data entry, greeting of visitors at the CASA office, answering the phone, and other tasks as assigned. The Program Assistant will work most closely with Early Family Engagement program staff to receive information for new CASA case appointments and enter case information into CASA’s internal database.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, proficiency working in Microsoft Office and databases, and the ability to manage multiple assignments on a day-to-day basis. Three years of experience working in an office setting preferred.
