Meet the Panelists

Dr. Kirandeep Kaur is a board certified psychiatrist, who graduated from the UNT Health Science Center in 2006 and did her graduate training from the Baylor College of Medicine. She specializes in various different areas including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, panic disorder, insomnia, and postpartum depression. Dr. Kaur thoroughly enjoys helping patients achieve a better quality of life. In addition to running her private practice, she finds time to be involved in various community outreach projects.

Dr. Salimah Khan is a Clinical Psychologist at the Rice University Counseling Center with seventeen years of experience in the field. Currently, she is in the process of transitioning to a private clinic in the Montrose area and teaching at Saint Thomas University. Dr. Khan is certified as an Executive Leadership Coach, and has also held a number of positions including Director of Outreach, Director of Training, and Assistant Director at Rice University. Additionally, Dr. Khan has a specialty in Multi-Cultural counseling and enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life.

Dr. Eugene Toy received his BS from Stanford University and his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently the Assistant Dean for Educational Programs, and Professor and Vice Chair of Medical Education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Toy enjoys teaching residents and students, serving as a mentor & guide for the next generation of clinicians.

Dr. Eugene Toy received his BS from Stanford University and his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently the Assistant Dean for Educational Programs, and Professor and Vice Chair of Medical Education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Toy enjoys teaching residents and students, serving as a mentor & guide for the next generation of clinicians.
