SAALT is Hiring

SAALT is excited to announce two new and important positions to our team: We are looking for a Community Partnerships Manager and Policy Associate. Both new positions will significantly expand SAALT's ability to engage with our communities and community partners on critical and emerging issues for South Asians nationwide.

This past year has given rise to issues that deeply impact the South Asian American community: hate violence, racial profiling, and the continued need to fight for immigrant justice. There is no better time than now for us to strengthen our community base and advocate for the civil rights and liberties of all South Asians in the United States. Please consider joining our team:

  • We are seeking candidates for a Community Partnerships Manager to expand SAALT's work at the regional level with our community partners in the National Coalition of South Asian Organizations (NCSO), particularly around local advocacy and organizing efforts. Priority deadline is October 1, 2017 but we are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
  • Help elevate SAALT's policy priorities around hate violence, immigration, and civil rights by applying for our Policy Associate position! This staff member will support the development and implementation of SAALT's legislative, administrative, and public policy agenda and activities. Priority deadline is October 1, 2017 but we are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
