Volunteer Trainer Opportunity

Coming of Age Austin

Coming of Age Austin is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and experienced volunteer(s) who would like to provide training session(s) for a 2-hour workshop that focuses on tips, tools and strategies for new nonprofit volunteer managers.

Workshop topics cover the essentials of recruitment, retention, and recognition for new volunteer managers or those looking for a refresher to sharpen their skills.

Helpful knowledge would include those with training and facilitations skills, nonprofit organizations, volunteerism, and 50+ civic engagement.

Train-the-trainer sessions will be provided by the Training and Education Coordinator at Coming of Age Austin, The curriculum and materials have been developed and will be supplied. The Training and Education Coordinator at Coming of Age Austin will supply all of the training materials necessary to conduct the workshop and will transport them to training locations.

Training locations will be primarily in the Austin metro area.

Must have own transportation.

Experience with technology not required.

The time requirement has some flexibility, but training sessions will primarily be between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

No long term commitment required.
